Awards for PTAs

Throughout the year, California State PTA and National PTA offer awards or grants to honor or support PTAs as they engage families, support student success, improve the health and safety of students and families, increase access to arts education or celebrate advocacy and diversity.

Significant funding is available to support and supplement local efforts for your students, families and community to participate in educational activities that are engaging, inspiring and fun.

While funding is not needed to implement all PTA Programs, it can be used as extra support in running programs or making programs more accessible to all students and families. The application process is easy (no prior grant-writing experience is needed) and the funding will help you reach your PTA’s goals in your school community.

California State PTA and National PTA offer a number of Recognition Award Programs to celebrate the achievements of PTAs, individual members and community partners.

To recognize and encourage the development of successful programs, prizes and funding are available for PTAs in good standing that submit an award-winning application showcasing a model program.

If your PTA organizes programs, activities and events to benefit student achievement, health and wellness and involvement; to build PTA leadership, membership and outreach; or, to enhance the community with parent engagement, advocacy and environment awareness, consider applying for a PTA Recognition Award.

Dynamic PTA programs enrich the lives of children, their families and their communities. That’s why California State PTA and National PTA offer a number of Recognition Award Programs to celebrate the achievements of PTAs, individual members and community partners. All of these awards are designed to recognize and encourage the development of model PTA programs.

In addition, California State PTA provides Service Award Programs to honor and publicly acknowledge the outstanding community service of PTAs, our members and community partners.
