Dr. Javier will share lessons learned from the Filipino Family Health Initiative and the importance of Special Time, Self-Care, and Emotion Coaching.

The primary goal of the webinar is to engage the Filipino communities with children 8-12 year olds in the Tenth District, who would be eligible for the study, Incredible Years.  Dr. Javier will share the origination of the program: why she started the study, the positive goals of the intervention, and the lasting impact it has made on hundreds of Filipino families and students.  She will also share additional upcoming programs that she facilitates for cohorts, including Hispanic families with toddlers and babies.
